Hi, I'm Andrea! 👋

I don’t really have one way of designing. And I think that’s a good thing.

Over the years, I’ve approached design from different perspectives: as a Product Designer, as a UX Designer, and, in a way, even as a musician. Each of them taught me something different: how to make sense of complexity, how to listen, how to experiment, how to find the right balance between ideas, people and constraints.

Today, these experiences naturally come together in the way I work.

I believe good design is not just about finding the right solution. It’s about finding it together. Every project involves different people, perspectives and priorities, and I see the designer’s role as guiding that complexity towards something meaningful. Sometimes it means pushing an idea forward. Sometimes it means making a compromise. Most of the time, it means knowing when to do which.

And when does a project feel successful to me?

Not when the interface looks perfect on a screen.
When someone uses it and smiles.

Maybe the reason I approach design this way is also my biggest weakness: I’m curious about almost everything.

Music. Car design. Calligraphy. 3D printing. Science fiction…

They might seem unrelated, but I like keeping these worlds connected. They constantly give me new ways to look at problems, create connections and build ideas.

I design with a UX mindset, a product perspective, and the curiosity of someone who still wants to know how things work.

PRODUCT DESIGN INTERN

The process of making yachts was a very inspiring experience for my career. From the understanding of client’s needs to the exploration of industrial production, I was able to learn how to exploit every constraint and transform it into a design opportunity. Interacting with different professional figures like designers, engineers and artisans, was incredibly helpful for me to understand the importance of taking care of every aspect of the product.
