ROLE
UX Researcher | UX Designer

Brief
The bike tire brand Vittoria has decided to build a first-of-its-kind bike park next to its headquarters in Italy. The project has several goals: to reshape the brand’s image, expand into the B2C market, and use the park as a testing ground for product development. Vittoria Park will feature a range of on-site services and customer touchpoints, all of which will be managed through a dedicated app.
Focus Group
Using a Moderated Focus Group approach, the design team guided participants through a structured discussion, with questions organized by theme. The main objectives were to gather insights about the company and the Vittoria Park project, clarify business goals, and identify the target audience.

User Journey Map Co-Design
In the second workshop, the design team focused on creating a detailed User Journey Map. All user actions and touchpoints were identified, categorized, and differentiated by target audience. The map also helped highlight gaps and unresolved areas within the user experience.

MVP
In the third and final workshop, the design team supported the client and development team in translating the User Journey Map into potential app features. These features were then prioritized, leading to the definition of the final MVP.

IA and User Flows
Once the design team had gathered enough information, they organized the selected features into an initial Information Architecture (IA) and developed user flows for each section of the app. The flows were designed with future updates and new use cases in mind, resulting in a structure that is both scalable and easy to adapt.

Wireframes
Wireframing was used as a verification step to validate the user flows before handing them off to the UI team. This phase was rarely shared with clients to prevent misunderstandings or unrealistic expectations regarding the visual design.

Final Design
The UI design followed strict guidelines provided by the client. Components were created to ensure a scalable solution, adaptable to future developments of the app. The design was reviewed weekly with both the client and developers to gather continuous feedback.
